What is Somatic Experiencing?

Somatic Experiencing is a body-oriented therapy approach that focuses on resolving trauma and stress-related symptoms by working with the body's natural capacity to self-regulate and heal. It involves tracking sensations and releasing stored tension to promote healing and resilience.

What is harm reduction?

Harm reduction is an approach that seeks to minimize the negative consequences of risky or harmful behaviors, such as substance use, without requiring abstinence. It focuses on practical strategies to reduce harm, improve safety, and enhance well-being for individuals and communities.


Do you accept insurance?

Yes! I take most insurances for psychotherapy sessions. Unfortunately, most insurances will not reimburse for ketamine sessions. My regular hourly rate is $180, but I also offer sliding scale for folks experiencing financial need.

WHAT COUNTS AS FINANCIAL NEED?

Answer the following questions on the honor system:

  • Can you afford your minimum payments on your bills and credit cards?

  • Do you have financially stable family and friends who can serve as a safety net for you?

  • Are you and/or your family members homeowners or landowners?

  • Have you been able to easily access health insurance, including via family members?

  • Do you expect to inherit property or money?

  • Have you attended college?

  • Are you without dependents?

  • Do you have zero or very low debt and have disposable income?

  • Do you have U.S. Citizenship?

Use the following guidelines to determine your sliding scale fee per hour:

  • 7–9 “yes”: full fee ($180)

  • 5–7 “yes”: minimal need ($160)

  • 3–5 “yes”: some need ($140)

  • 1–3 “yes”: significant need ($120)

  • 0 “yes”: reparations rate ($100)
